Misty Marrin, a catcher on the St. Anthony’s softball team was selected as the first student athlete to be enrolled in the AQUAS program. The basis for her selection was on her academic performance, athletic skills, leadership traits and contributions to her community.
Marrin’s high school coach, Ted Dromogule, had called AQUAS scouts attention to his senior catcher and based on his recommendation her play was observed. After being more than satisfied with Misty’s performance on the field, other aspects of this young lady’s life were evaluated and members of the Board of Advisors felt she was the ideal candidate for AQUAS sponsorship.
The next step in the process will allow colleges to evaluate Misty’s credentials both academically and athletically. The College Promoters of Texas (CPOTX) have been hired to use their top ranked communication technology skills to let every college softball coach in the country know about the drive and dedication of this student athlete. Marrin’s profile is currently displayed on the web site cpotx.com along with her hi-light video.
Misty Marrin should be commended for a job well done as we help her and her family identify the academic and athletic match for her future.
