This baseball pitcher from Holy Cross High School had colleges
from across the country trying to entice him to come to their
school. Clocked at 87 mph during his senior year, Wyatt worked
hard to refine his baseball skills. But he worked harder at
something else….his studies. This allowed him to graduate from
high school as the valedictorian of his class! In athletic scholarship
offers there was always a financial gap between the scholarship
dollars and the cost. Trinidad knew that his family had fallen on
hard times so he elected to forego baseball and the intrigue of
playing at the collegiate level and exercise his other option. As
valedictorian he could attend any Texas State school at no cost. So
he chose Texas A&M and has graduated as a very proud “Aggie
with a degree in History and a minor in coaching. Wyatt isn’t done
as he plans to seek his doctorate degree in Education.
AQUAS is so proud to have been able to work with these three
students and we wish them well in the future.
