Maryn Swierc
Sport: Volleyball
High School: Bracken Christian – 2010
College: Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas

Maryn Sweirc, a senior at Bracken Christian High School in Bulverde, Texas has been selected by Members of the Board of Advisors to receive support from AQUAS. This means that this outstanding young volleyball player’s athletic skills and academic achievements will be brought to the attention of every university in the country that has a volleyball program. This will be accomplished by The College Promoters of Texas (CPOTX) where Mary’s profile and video are on line (cpotx.com).

Maryn has received All-State honors in all her underclass years at Bracken and was also selected as a prestigious All-State Academician. Sporting a high ACT score on her first attempt at taking the test, it is easy to see why she is a member of the National Honor Society and President of her class.

This strong Setter and Outside Hitter on her team, Swierc is easy to notice on the volleyball court. She seems to be in the middle of every play and ranked is in the top 25 in the Kills category in San Antonio. On the court she is fearless as she roams the court in support of her team, whether in an offensive or defensive role. Maryn helped to lead her high school team to two state championships.

Maryn Swierc was an easy choice for the Board. Aside from her athletic activities she gives back to her school and the community as a solid teenage citizen. She had accomplished so much in her young life and the university that she chooses to attend will be so fortunate to have her.

Colton, standing at 6’4″ and weighing 247 lbs., was a dominant lineman for the Lytle Pirates. He received All-District honors on both offense and defense. AQUAS CEO Hugh Mulligan noted that “Colton was selected because of his all-around performance both in the classroom and on the field.” This is very apparent in the fact that he was very involved in school, and church, gave back to his community, and was involved with Scouting. Mulligan believed that Colton was a “very special young man.”

The AQUAS Board feels very fortunate to have an enrollee that has the credentials of Colton Bragg and his characteristics that fit so well with the AQUAS ideals.
